10 Months!

Liliana is 10 months old!  We are getting close to her birthday and I cannot believe it!  I feel like she was born yesterday, but at the same time, I don’t remember life without her.  She is such a blessing to us and I love watching her grow and learning more about her everyday.  I haven’t taken her official 10 month pictures yet so check back for those soon.  Here are her 10 month facts and some pictures of her from the past few weeks.

-Liliana weighs 18 pounds 12 ounces.  She wears 9-12 month clothes and size 3 diapers. 

-This girl LOVES to eat!  She would eat all day if we let her.  She loves chicken nuggets, rice, biscuits with jelly, pancakes, english peas, green beans, banana pudding, cheerios, sweet potatos.  She pretty much loves it all.  She eat 3 meals a day plus an afternoon snack.  She still takes 4 bottles a day.

-Liliana sleeps from about 8:30 to 6:30 or 7 every night.  She takes one long nap right after lunch time/early afternoon.  Sometimes she will take a quick evening nap too depending on what is going on.

-She had her first ear infection this month

-Liliana has 5 teeth.  3 on top and 2 on bottom with another one about to come in on the bottom.

-She loves to play, play, play, play!  She has lots of toys and will play contently in the floor for hours!  She loves to be at home playing instead of out and about.

-Liliana can stand on her own.  She hasn’t taken any steps yet, but she will walk along the furniture.  She can go from sitting to standing without holding on the anything.  It won’t be long before she takes off!

-She is a climber!  You can’t take your eyes off of her or she will be on top of something.

-She is still obsessed with Elmo! She always gives her Elmo doll kisses.  The other day she took her pacifier out of her mouth and put it in Elmo’s.

-Liliana says ” Mama”  “Dada”  “BaBa”  “Bye” and “Baby”.  She has said “Hi” a couple of times.  She is loud and loves to squeal and make noise.  When she gets loud the dog starts barking and howling, and she has figured that out.  So she is purposefully loud just to drive George crazy!

9 months!

I cannot believe that we have a 9 month old and we will soon have a 1 year old! Time is flying by. I know I say this every month, but Liliana gets more fun every day. She is such a sweet, happy baby and we could not love her more!

-Liliana weighs 18 pounds (50%) and is 26 inches (50%).

-She is sleeping through the night from about 8:30pm til 7am and taking a short morning nap and long afternoon nap.

-Liliana has moved up a class at school. She is not in the baby room anymore, breaks my heart. She has had a bit of a time adjusting to the change due to the fact that she moved classes, then was out for Thanksgiving break, went a week, then was out sick this week.

-She has 5 teeth…two on bottom and three on top.

-Liliana can stand alone and will walk holding on to furniture. I thought for sure she would walk by Christmas since she crawled so early. She is content to crawl and she does it super fast!

-She says mama, dada, bah bah (bottle and bye), sometimes you can get her to say “hey”. She does this little fake cough for attention some times and always laughs when her daddy is laughing. She squeals and hollers all the time. She is LOUD!

-This girl loves music! She loves to dance, and sing, and bang on her music toys.

-Liliana has a slight obsession with Elmo.

-She eat three times a day now and has started on some table food. She does not care for baby food at all, and she loves stuff she can feed herself. She loves green beans, peas, carrots, yogurt, pancakes, french fries (regular and sweet potato), bread, and mangos. She is taking 5 ounces per bottle every four hours that she is awake.

-Liliana has been off of her reflux medicine for a while now!

-Her hair is super curly!!!!! I love it!

Happy Thanksgiving

8 Months

-Liliana weighs about 17 pounds.

-She can stand on her own! She has only done it a few times, but she is getting more brave!

-Liliana has finally switched to the regular formula from the hypoallergenic. My pocketbook is happy and her reflux is pretty much gone.

-She eats 4 ounce bottles 6 times and day, and baby food 2-3 times a day. She likes apples, pears, peaches, sweet potatoes, pineapple, gerber puffs, and cheetos!

-Her sleep is about the same. If all is well and she is not sick or teething she will sleep from about 8:30pm to 6:30am. She takes a short morning nap and a long afternoon nap.

-She wears 6-9 month clothes and size 2 shoes.

-She can say “momma” “dada” and “bah bah” (which is bottle and bye bye).

-She has two teeth on the bottom and one on the top.

-She loves loves loves music and dances every time she hears it.

-Liliana can sit in the in bath tub.

-She loves Sesame Street and Elmo.

-She has learned to clap her hands and is so proud of herself when she does.

Our little gymnast!

7 months old!

Liliana is 7 months old! Time flies when you are having fun, and we are having tons of fun with this little girl! She is always doing something new and finding some way to make us laugh! We love her so much! Here is what she has been up to this month!

-Liliana weighs 16 pounds and is in 3-6 month clothes and size 2 diapers.

-She is a super fast crawler! Take your eyes off of her for one second and she is gone! She is also pulling up and starting to try and walk along whatever piece of furniture she happens to be holding onto.

-Liliana has two teeth on the bottom and one about to come through on the top.

-Her first word was “bah bah.” She says this when she sees her bottle and she will also say it sometimes when we tell her to say goodbye and she will wave! It is so cute! She said “Ma Ma” when she saw me when I went to pick her up at daycare the other day!

-Liliana has gone up to 4 ounces of milk every 3 hours during the day. She eats baby food once a day and she loves bananas and sweet potatoes. She can feed herself puffs and it is so cute to watch! We have had to be very careful increasing her milk and adding foods because her reflux is so bad. I gave her a little taste of a pancake Sunday and she seemed to like it!

-Sleep….that is one thing that changes every day! Her naps are pretty predictable and consistent. She takes a short morning nap and one long afternoon nap with a couple of really short naps mixed in depending on what is going on. This month night time has been far from predictable. First of all Liliana had a cold that was keeping her up. When that went away she was getting hungry at night so we increased her milk. Once we got that taken care of she started cutting a tooth. But finally, starting this weekend we seem to be back on a routine. Liliana goes to bed about 8:30 and sleeps until around 7am. Most nights we give her a bottle before we go to bed about 11 so that she can make it through til morning. Saturday night she had a bottle at 8, went to sleep, and slept to 6 without a bottle! That was a record 10 hours for her! Yay!

-This girl LOVES music and she loves to dance!

-Liliana is 100% totally completely a Daddy’s girl!

-Liliana has a new cousin! Baby Henley was born Septemebr 25th!

-We are looking forward to the holidays just around the corner!
